me call you Stupid in parliament. Yay!!!
oh, how smart were you to be shouting “Stupid” in the parliament. I am of course referring to a certain MP who has the amazing debating skills. During a certain Q&A session with a prominent opposition dude, our great MP (let us call him GMP for short) decided that he doesn’t have to waste valuable time trying to construct viable and positive sentences to defend his point. All he needed was to shout at the top of his political lungs uttering the word “Stupid! Stupid”. Check it out on You Tube, folks. Just type in “malaysia parlimen stupid”, and you would recieve the results right away.
Since all that MPs in parliament do is to debate, I think that the GMP was the president of his school’s and his university’s debating club. WOW! What great skills. When I was a debater back in school, all our dearest debating coach, Ms.Rasaiah (ACS Klang) did was to teach us how to formulate our points in proper sentences, give concrete evidences for our facts and cite examples to drive the point home. Perhaps the lamest thing she thought us was not to “poison the well”, which means we shouldn’t destroy the premises of the opponent before he/she manages to make his/her stand. Damn. I wish she would have taught Edwin, Alvin, Sui Seng and me how to scream deragotory remarks at the top of our lungs to win arguments. Had she taught us that valuable debating skill, we would surely be politicians sitting in the parliament right now.
