My 3 Good Days
The last 3 days were very good to me. I mean, it’s not that I have bad days everyday. It was just the fact that the last three days were very much better and blissful. Three days ran through with me smiling like a clown and walking around with my spirits on a high. So here’s a rundown of what happened the last three days.
Friday the 7th
I received my first ever credit card! Yippeeeeeee! It was approved in less than two weeks, considering that I’m a fresh graduate on his first job. Plus, I got a reasonable credit limit. So now I’m prepared for emergencies…. It’s issued by CIMB Bank, and yes, I can hear some of you going “Yeah yeah…! I have Citibank and MBF cards!!!”. Nonetheless, this is actually my first card, and I am quite proud to have one. Also, I have a waiver for the yearly fees not for 1 year, or 2 years, or 3 years, but for my whole fucking lifetime!!! Hahaha…. Not that I’m gonna go on a spending spree soon, mind you. It’s just for emergency usage where cash seems to be in shortage.
Saturday the 8th
I got my new Dell 19” Wide Screen LCD monitor today. Actually I received it on Friday, but the box was unpacked on Saturday morning and boy, was it worth the fucking wait! It is soooooo fucking cool! Just for that, I re-installed my most favourite game and HAD to replay everything in wide-screen experience. I watched movies and did some graphic editing and it was ALL great! The brightness and clarity is unbelievable, and sadly, the pictures below don’t do much justice to the monitor. Even a 2MP Sony Ericsson camera phone cannot capture the full details I am experiencing in front of me.
Sunday the 9th
It was double fun today, as there were two events that made this day sweet. Firstly, the English boys had made a fool out of the Israelis in the Euro 2008 qualifiers with a 3-0 win. Such an heart-pounding result.
The second event was my mom’s birthday. No big celebration. My bro and I got her a card, and we were left pondering on what gift to get her. Since I am now working, I felt that I should get a good gift for her. After some searching in Klang town, we ended up in a home décor shop which specializes in plastic flowers and ceramic decorative pots. I snapped up the one which appealed to me as soon as I saw it. My bro agreed it would be great, since mom had a special affinity for home décor stuff. She loved it. Phew!
