I couldn’t connect to Streamyx… Since last Tuesday… No internet access… Their support staff don’t even know what’s my fucking problem. I receive an Error 678: The remote computer doesn’t respond. That means it’s not MY problem you assholes. It’s yours. I’ve done the recommended self-help procedures time and time again. I’ve reset my modem. I’ve changed the DNS settings. I’ve pinged my modem. I’ve made sure my modem works. I even used a different modem and a different ethernet cable. I’ve even asked those assholes to reset my port thrice. And I still can’t connect. And they said that their technician ain’t on duty, so I gotta wait till Monday the 4th (today) to receive his call. I doubt that it would ever happen.
I have been calling them since last Tuesday (29th January). One week aledi… Still no connection… Bastards… Ruining my paid posts income. And there’s a lot of stuff I need to do. How am I gonna get my side-project done in time? I’m aledi a week backlogged. And I am not playing my fav online game.
Fuck you la assholes… TMNET.. Best-effort-service my ass… May all the fleas of disease-ridden camels infest your groin and may ur hands be too short to scratch them…. Motherfuckers!!!!!
PS: Anyone can help me troubleshoot? I’ve done everythg sanely possible. Or anyone with some inside infor on TMNET?

as u said.. Streamyx is sucks… the connection dam slw for past 3 weeks.. sometime the download speed will be around 10kbps…
i wil turn on n off my modem atleast few times a day… and their customer support also one big maire…
thy will ask the same stupid question… “lampu modem anda stabil atau klip klip” 
- if u using auto connect, try to disable it and do connection manually
-check ur network adapters in device manager

i had the same problem as yours. cannot connect & always get “error 678″. complained twice to tmnet but to no avail. days later my modem condemned. changed to new modem, now everything back to normal. it could be your modem problem, check your modem.
hope this info could end your current frustrations.

It took me from Nov 2006-Nov 2007 just to get the freaking problem fixed. Now it’s running like a charm.
My problem is that they installed solar powered servers in my area. So when the sun goes down at 7pm, so does the server.
