My Modem Has Fried
A Notice: I would be out for an indefinite amount of time. But surely not more than a week. My streamyx ADSL modem has fried. Literally, it has fried. Fucking low quality shit.
I’m on the hunt for a new modem/router. Aztech, DLink or Belkin. Still undecided. Wireless most prob coz my bro wants to use the net in his lappie too. Sigh. Fucked up TMNut. Providing low quality shit. Bastards. I rather not waste my precious time arguing with them. Furthermore, it’s been more than a year, and I don’t think they give more than a year’s warranty for crappy shit like the Billion modem they provided. Assholes. I’m without internet for the weekend, and maybe a few days to follow.

actually, if you get the technician to come (TM guy) they will replace it FOC.

PS: Linksys is the one to go for ADSL router ,cover lightning too!
You can’t trust TMnut’s modem, it’s really FUCKED up stuff. I applied for Streamyx and went through hell of a time trying to get connected to the net. After about 2 weeks of calling up their call -centre, I finally gave up!
I suspected it must be the modem and took it, swung it three times around my head and tossed it out of the window.
Then I went and bought an Aztech DSL605EU. It’s working wonderfully. It’s not a wireless modem. But Aztech do have a wireless modem (a cousin of Aztech DSL605EU).
So it’s not Streamyx which is fucked up but the screwed up modem which they supply. A word of advice, do not use USB modems. Get a modem which comes with a power adapter.
