Guys, I need help BIG TIME. Here’s the lowdown.
I’m using Joomla 1.5, and I need to use a DHTML-like menu for my topmenu. I’ve installed the swMenuFree component, and it installed without any problems. My problem is, I don’t freaking know how to use the damn thing!
My topmenu has an item named “Courses”, and it has 4 submenus in it.
Courses
- Course 1
- Course 2
- Course 3
- Course 4
I want to be able to mouseover on the Courses item, and have a dropdown of the 4 submenus which will point to different articles. The menu setup is fine.
Say, for example, I want to make the menu appear at the “user9″ position. In the swMenuFree setup, my menu system is “transmenu” and menu source is “topmenu”; and I named the module as “DDMenu”. In the module manager, I enabled DDMenu at postion “user9″. At the theme template, I’ve put this code “<jdoc:include type=”modules” name=”user9″ />“.
But nothing happens.
Can anyone, please, please, pretty please guide me exactly how to display the dropdown menu using swMenuFree? I don’t mind if you start over, or even teach me how to use another plugin.
