My Graduation - AIMST University Inaugural Convocation Ceremony
So here I am, now a confirmed graduate after receiving my scroll from my university after waiting for almost two years. I’ve also got my license already. The license to what, you’d ask. I’ll leave it to your own interpretation. You’ll be able to discern it soon after a few weeks worth of articles.
So, now, I’m officially a graduate from AIMST University. Let me just clear one thing for some of you. This post is not about MIC. It is about the university and its inaugural convocation ceremony, which I fully endorse on the basis that it is the education that I received from there that prepared me well for the working world. This post is about sharing my joy with you with some of the photos I took.
You may wonder why it has taken so long for us to graduate. Well, the higher authorities of the university wanted the inaugural ceremony to be a grand endeavour, and surely there must be a substantial number of students for a successful convocation. I admit the wait for some (including me) was quite unbearable, but to look on the bright side, didn’t a large majority of us graduates manage to snag a job somewhere? Weren’t we all quite happy that we were working already, making money and contacts while a large chunk of public university students are jobless? I truly am grateful.
After the wait, we definitely felt vindicated (as stated by the Vice-Chancellor in his speech). The event was grand, and we were all in high spirits. The day came and we stood there proud and grinning from ear to ear and our family and friends watched us receive our honours with insurmountable happiness. Here are the pictures. More in my Facebook account, including the post-graduation Street Party / 3-Way Birthday Bash.
And don’t forget. I’ve got my “license”.
