School Days: Nostalgia from ACS Klang

Yesterday, as soon as I woke up, I drew the curtains of my bedroom and saw a bunch of boys cycling to their first day of school. I don’t know why, but I smiled to myself knowingly. The crisp new uniform, the new school back, the rejoicing with friends and the books we carried. All the while, as I was preparing myself to get to work, I reminisced about the years gone by, and the teenage years that passed with it. Bitter and sweet, all memories alike, are still fresh in my mind. Schooling days were among my best memories, apart from uni life.

My 2009

This year, I’m having a few things to look forward to. It’s kinda like a brand new rush when a new year gushes in, and boy oh boy, do I feel excited. This year, I’m skipping the resolution shit, coz frankly, everyone knows that you end up compromising on December 31st and then postpone them to the following year. Now now, all you resolution-freaks don’t go about screaming, ‘kay? We’re talking about normal human beings, who have cravings and misses all the same, not those obsessive-compulsive nutjobs who start chewing on their toenails when they fail to strike out their resolutions. And no, I didn’t complete ALL my resolutions for 2008. And puh-leaseee… I’m not so bitter bout it. **Snorts**

An Ode To 2008

The year has come to a close. 2008 has been very good to me. I am certainly richer (in more than one aspect) and I am certainly more content with my life. Although I didn’t set out to achieve some of my resolutions made at the beginning of the year, somehow I feel that I gained other stuff which are more meaningful in life.

FUCK YOU TMNET STREAMYX

I think it’s of no secret that lately, TMNet Streamyx has been giving us fucked up broadband connections. What use is broadband when I take fucking 20-30 seconds to open Google’s homepage? One day it was fine, and suddenly the next, connections to certain sites have been draggy and some just refuse to load. Don’t fucking blame it on my system coz they are fucking fine. Even my office has the same fucking problem.

Fuck you guys. Fuck your motherfucking, shit-assed, piss poor excuse of a broadband service provider. I used Maxis’ broadband to check things out and they were fucking fine to me AND others, even when Maxis’ speed around my area isn’t up to par, you worthless pieces of donkey-snot bastards. I can’t even run a fast FTP download. It frustrates me to the max.

Even as I am writing this, this page is taking forever to load. Only God knows what kind of fuck-faced hickeys are running the whole place. FUCK YOU.

Now…. If only P1 WIMAX is available in Klang….. dammit…

Oh, before I forget…  FUCK YOU TMNET STREAMYX! Change the damn name to SLOWMYX la, assholes!

Comics of Gods and Goddesses of Vedic (Hindu) Literature

Gods and Goddesses of Vedic literature are often looked upon as external deities, when in fact they are symbolic and specific expression of higher archetypal states of consciousness. When that archtypal state of consciousness is expressed or incarnates through us, we become capable of grand and extraordinary accomplishments.

Each and every God in he pantheon, represents various forces and elements that lay in embryo in each of us. Emulate them. Cultivate the qualities of consciousness that they represent in your awareness and you too can accomplish great things.

- Quoted from Deepak Chopra, in India Authentic Issue #1, published by Virgin Comics

If you wanna know more about the Gods and Goddesses of the Hindu culture, but can’t stand to listen or read monotonous narrations, the India Authentic series is the comic for you. Created by Deepak Chopra, the series tells very personalized stories with human interests in mind. I don’t need to tell you that the art is totally super kick-ass.
