The Daily Torture Called Commuting

Before you manage to get to work and try not to get yourself pissed off with the IT illeterate XXX Dept. Manager, you have to do something even worse. You gotta drag your sorry ass TO work.

Let’s face it. Not many of us are priviliged to work from home like those probloggers, dotcom entrepeneurs and unemployed graduates. You gotta get TO work, and get back FROM work for 5 or 6 days a week. Your wallet suffers, your patience diminishes and you hurt your bladder trying to stop yourself from emptying that filled-to-the-brim bladder while being stuck in an hour-long traffic jam. These stuff constitute the loss of money, energy and time, and it certainly needs a long, deep, boring and monotonous discussion on the topic.

INSTEAD, why don’t you just read up some online shit on “The Daily Torture Called Commuting”, such as the one below…

This is my most favorite tongue twister of all time!

Can a fuck be refucked if the fucker and the fuckee agree that the fuck that was fucked was a fucking good fuck?

It MIGHT ruin my credibility of being a decent person, but seriously, this IS MY blog… So who gives a fucking shit?!

Inside The Mind of An Ignorant Dumbass

Stupid people annoy me. Ok, maybe not stupid people. Ignorant people. Yep. Ignorant seems more like a proper word for it. Maybe politically correct. What the heck. People who are both stupid AND ignorant annoy the fuck outta me. The ones who are actually proud of their ignoramus and idocracy-ruled brains should have their brains studied by chimpanzees. Let’s take a trip down memory lane shall we? Read the full article…

Movie Synopses Part 2

Yep, here’s more movie synopses for you guys. It’s a painstaking process, you know, to watch all these movies and dissect them and analyse them to come up with a feasible summary. Yeah, right. They’re just some comical interpretations and nothing more.

Planet of the Apes (dedicated to Neeroo coz she watched the movie when she was 9)
Man lands on a monkey planet. Man walks around half-naked. Monkeys screw with man coz man can’t speak due to his throat being injured. Man suddenly speaks, and monkeys wanna silence man. Man runs away, find the Statue of Liberty half buried in the sand. Discovers that mankind fucked itself on Earth and apes started to rule. Read the full article…

Some Flashback on Iron Man and the Marvel World

With all the Iron Man hype that’s going on, and with Samuel L. Jackson’s potrayal of Nick Fury at the end of Iron Man, here’s a little flashback on the world of Marvel Comics and the Civil War arc that has a lot to do with Iron Man. If you must know, Iron Man is a part of the Avengers team who help resurrect Captain America with Thor, Wasp, Giant Man, Natalia Romanoff, and Nick Fury as their “team manager”.

Marvel’s Civil War: An Intro (Part 1 of 3)

Marvel’s Civil War: The Events in Brief (Part 2 of 3)

Marvel’s Civil War: Captain America’s Death (Part 3 of 3)

And yes, it’s true. Just like Dante told me, I have run out of ideas for witty and wacky and crazy posts. I’ve lost my mojo. I need to recharge my creative batteries. Someone please help me.

Dasavathaaram - A Collection of Trailers, Images and News

I just can’t wait any longer! The wait is killing. Ever since Kamalhaasan announced his mega-project, Dasavathaaram, back in 2005, I couldn’t contain my excitement.

Dasavathaaram is a movie where Kamal will play 10 different characters. Not 10 different appearences, but 10 different characters, surpassing Sir Alec Guinness’s record of 8 characters in Kind Hearts and Coronets (1949), or more accurately the late Sivaji Ganesan’s record of 9 characters in Navarathiri (1964). The story is kept tightly under wraps, but some statements from the movie’s tech team point out that the movie has tie-ins of science and religion. Read the full article…

Must Watch 2008 Summer Movies

I’m a big movie buff. When the summer releases from Hollywood hit the Malaysian cinemas, you can be sure of me being there. I do also go watch Tamil movies, but they don’t exactly come out following the 4 seasons.

So, next month, May is the beginning of the summer releases. And what does a movie buff like me do? I compiled a list of must-watch movies, for both good AND bad reasons all the same. Last year’s summer movies were all about sequels. Spidey 3 (aiyo… too much love drama, and too little Venom), Pirates 3 (well, Orlando Bloom was getting on my nerves), Shrek 3 (why oh why?!), Ocean’s Thirteen (give it up, Clooney), Fantastic Four 2 (yawn, except for Ms. Alba), Die Hard 4.0 (won’t Bruce Willis die?), Harry Potter 5 (David Yates, will ya just follow the book please?), and Bourne 3 (well, it was kinda good actually). Some of the other great movies were Transformers (yeah baby yeah!!) and The Simpsons (can I ever say no to Homer?).

Ever go to the theater and come out thinking, “What the fuck did I just watch???!!!”?

So here I am, trying to provide everyone with a great community service. I’m gonna give you guys ultra-condensed synopses of many of the movies that resonate in our memories till today.

So, here’s a list od some movies that came into my mind. The title’s on first, with the synopsis coming up next. Read the full article…
